Seminarian dies as bandits set Catholic Church ablaze

Again, tragedy hits Kaduna State as a Catholic Seminarian, Na’aman Danlami was roasted to death when bandits invaded and set ablaze St. Raphael Parish in Fadan Kamantan, Kafanchan Diocese.
The incident occured in the late hours of Thursday at about 8:00 p.m in Jema’a Local Government Area of the state.
Presidential Diary gathered that some priests escaped during the attack but the Seminarian was unfortunately caught in the inferno.
Another source revealed that Danlami died from the smoke he inhaled while trying to escape from the cruelty of the bandits. His remains had since been deposited in the mortuary.
When contacted, the Acting Public Relations Officer, Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Mansir Alhassan confirmed the incident.
Reacting, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna State, Rev. John Hayab described the incident as sad and unfortunate.
He wondered why killing of such magnitude still existed in the country.
