‘Quality Healthcare Delivery Crucial for Success’

The Federal Government has attributed quality healthcare delivery as crucial to the growth and development of any society.
Minister of State for Health & Social Welfare, Dr. Tunji Alausa stated this on Tuesday during the oversight tour and official commissioning of Ultra-modern Projects at Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu.
He explained that the present administration focuses its health drive action on four major agenda’s such as governance in healthcare, unlocking value chain, health and social security, and population outcome.
Alausa commended the Rector of the College, Prof. John Emaimo for his giant strides within the shortest time in office.
He lauded the top management staff, and the entire community for their mutual cooperation during the execution of the project.
Alausa reiterated the Federal Government’s determination to increase the funding of health institutions across the country.
Prof. Emaimo thanked the Federal Government for the financial support that led to the successful implementation of the projects that would benefit the college and the communities.
He pleaded with the minister to assist in addressing some of the challenges faced by the institution.
Some of the projects commisioned include two-in-one lecture room, biomedical research centre, Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), medical centre extension, rector’s lodge, one storey classroom block and lawn tennis court.
