President Bola Tinubu has named the former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Mr Bayo Onanuga as Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.
Tinubu also appointed Ms Delu Bulus Yakubu as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale on Friday in Abuja.
Ngelale noted that the new role was part of efforts to prioritise effective and efficient working synergy between the Presidency and Federal Ministries through the appointments of professionals that have prior working experience of the Federal Ministries they would be coordinating.
This, he said would also be in addition to duties to be carried out at the President’s discretion.
Tinubu wished the new presidential aides well in the discharge of their duties.
