Speaker Faults Murder of Zamfara Journalist

The Speaker of Zamfara House of Assembly, Alhaji Bilyaminu Moriki has faulted the murder of a Veteran journalist with Voice of Nigeria (VON) Alhaji Hamisu Danjibga by unknown gunmen.
Danjibga, who was the State Correspondent, Hausa Service of VON, was missing for three days before his corpse was found in a soakaway behind his house on Wednesday, September 20.
The speaker said on Thursday in Zamfara that the death of Danjibga was a great loss not only to the deceased family but Zamfara, Nigeria and the entire journalism profession.
He condoled the family of the deceased, Zamfara NUJ Council, state NUJ Correspondent’s Chapel and entire journalists in the state over the murder of Danjibga.
The speaker also prayed Allah to grant the deceased paradise and give the family courage to bear the loss, just as he urged security agencies to ravel those behind the gruesome murder.
