Senior Special Adviser to Nigeria’s former President, Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has revealed as much as he could tell while working with the immediate past President in a book that was launched on Tuesday, January 16.

The event, which was held at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, brought President Bola Tinubu, his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, his wife, Aisha, and Vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo along with former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, and other dignitaries together under one roof.

Writing in the preface of the book titled, “Working with Buhari: Reflections of A Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity (2015-2023),” as reviewed on the day by Shola Oshunkeye, Pulitzer prize winner, the former Presidential Spokesman stated that the book “is about the Buhari story from the perspective of someone who served him from the very first day in office, to the last (May 2015-May 2023).

Putting this in perspective, Adesina wrote that, “It is the eye witness report, a story-behind-the-story.
