President Bola Tinubu is currently holding talks with the Security Chiefs, led by the Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting, which started at about 3 pm on Thursday, is also attended by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Auwal Gambo; Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya and Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba and others.
Also present at the meeting is a delegation from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside the National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Though the Presidnecy is yet to unveil the agenda of the meeting , there is an indication that most of the salient issues to be discussed would centre on ending banditry, farmers-herders crisis and kidnapping.
