Another Kidnapped Victim Rescued in FCT, One Arrested

Police Operatives attached to Iddo Divisional Headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has rescued another kidnapped victim.

The victim, one Suleiman Sabo, a male, was rescued from the Kidnappers in Sauka, a shanty settlement along Airport Road, Abuja on Sunday, at about 11:30am.

During the rescue operation, one Muhammad Abel, aged 32 from Kogi State was apprehended and one rifle with ten (10) rounds of life ammunition recovered from him.

The victim who sustained some injuries from the kidnappers, is currently receiving medical attention, and would be reunited with his family once certified fit by the medical team.

The Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Haruna G. Garba, in a statement by FCT Force Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh reiterated the Command’s commitment to rid FCT of Criminality in a bid to maintain peace for all and sundry.
