President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 18 Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to actualise the Federal Government’s agenda across different sectors of the economy.
The Director of Information, Office of the Vice President, Mr Olusola Abiola disclosed this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
Abiola said that the team comprising six Special Advisers and 12 Senior Special Assistants would work in the office of the vice president, Kashim Shettima, to support the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of the Tinubu-led administration.
The appointees are Special Adviser to the President on National Economic Council (NEC) and Climate Change, Rukaiya El-Rufai and Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters, Mr Tope Kolade Fasua.
Others are the Special Adviser, General Duties, Aliyu Modibbo; Special Adviser on Political Matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed and Special Adviser to the President on Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole.
Added to the list are Special Adviser to the President on Power Infrastructure, Sadiq Wanka; Senior Special Assistant to the President on Administration and Office Coordination, Usman Mohammed and Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Kingsley Nkwocha.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital Media and Emergency Management is Ishaq Ningi; Senior Special Assistant to the President, Investment and Privatisation, Peju Adebajo and Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political/Special Duties, Mohammed Bulama.
While the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Agricbusiness and Productivity Enhancement is Mr Kingsley Uzoma, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Research and Analytics is also Gimba Kakanda.
Also, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation and MSMEs is Temitola Adekunle-Johnson; while the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Innovation is Nasir Yammama, and Senior Special Assistant to the President on NEC is Zainab Yunusa.
Others are Senior Special Assistant to the President, Regional Development Programmes, Mariam Temitope and Senior Special Assistant to the President on State House Counsel, Bashir Maidugu.
