The Fountain of Life Church Ilupeju, Lagos has appointed Nollywood Actor, Jimmy Odukoya as the new General Overseer.
This followed the death of his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who was the founder and General Overseer of the church.
Pastor Jimi was officially declared as the new General Overseer on Sunday by the office of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Church.
He is expected to mount the saddle as the senior pastor officially from September 30, 2023.
His sister, Tolu Odukoya Ijogun is the new associate Pastor of the Church.
Accepting the new position, Jimmy declared that he would build on his father’s legacy and contribute immensely towards making the church a global ministry that would touch the lives of people.
Jimmy, the eldest son of late Taiwo is also a rapper and happily married to Oluwakemi Odukoya. They have one daughter, Ariella Abimbola Odukoya.
He was ordained as a pastor in 2013 and has consistently served at the Fountain of Life Church since then.
Pastor Jimmy is famous for his role in the youth ministry, commitment and passion in teaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Recall that late Pastor Taiwo died on August 7, 2023, in the United States and was buried in the month of September.
